Miami, Fla. – December 19, 2005 – Renate Smith, General Manager for First Service Realty, Inc. (FSR), a Florida-based, privately owned and operated residential/commercial real estate company, has been appointed Chairperson of the Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches (RAMB). Smith’s tenure will run in 2007, after the 2006 Chairperson, Patricia Dahne, steps down. RAMB’s purpose is to offer knowledge management, marketing tools and professional services to its more than 12,000 members. Previously, Smith served as the 2005 Residential President of RAMB, which is the fifth largest chapter of the National Association of Realtors When asked what she perceives as the Realtor’s greatest challenge Smith remarked “Realtor’s challenges have evolved right along with big business.
