New Mortgage Campaign Launched
Miami, FL – The REALTOR® Association of Greater Miami & the Beaches (RAMB), joined by Fannie Mae, announces the launch of the HomeStay Advantage™ campaign in South Florida. The campaign kickoff will feature the HomeStay Advantage program to promote “responsible lending” and educate real estate agents and loan originators on how to help potential home buyers identify the most appropriate affordable mortgage products. First Service Realty - GMAC and Premium Service Financial were the first to take advantage of this important new campaign and the opportunities for their clients and customers. Fannie Mae joined RAMB to launch the campaign so all its members will have the opportunity to take advantage of this exciting new initiative.
On September 24th, RAMB members, brokers, agents and mortgage originators will receive intensive training on such loan products as Fannie Mae’s MyCommunity Mortgage®, Flexible 97® and 100™ and Expanded Approval®. These mortgage products can help more buyers qualify for a mortgage loan using flexible financing, at conventional rates, to meet a wide range of financial situations.
The goal of the multifaceted campaign is to give real estate professionals a proactive voice in better educating their clients on how to avoid high-cost lending, while expanding affordable homeownership opportunities throughout South Florida.
RAMB members and First Service Realty - GMAC agents are the first real estate professionals in South Florida to receive training for this new campaign. The outreach effort will also help real estate professionals develop relationships with responsible lenders that offer low-cost mortgage loans and are committed to helping home buyers get the best mortgage financing for which they qualify.

RAMB, joined by Fannie Mae, will kick-off the training effort with a workshop on September 24, 2007, at 9:30 a.m. The course will discuss market trends, changing demographics, and a wide range of financing options to help potential home buyers overcome the barriers to homeownership. Fannie Mae’s Manager for South Florida, Jose Gonzalez, will conduct the training.
