Started At Age 18 in the Business Eduardo San Roman is the President and CEO of First Service Realty-GMAC Real Estate, founded in 1982. San Roman earned his real estate license at the age of 18 and was named Realtor of the Year shortly thereafter. At the age of 24, he was the youngest president ever appointed to the Miami Board of Realtors. Since then, he has helmed the growth of FSR, overseeing its expansion from its lone Miami office to eleven offices statewide including Georgia.
In January 2006 San Roman partnered with GMAC Real Estate. Since the partnership, First Service Realty GMAC has grown by more than 70 percent and is on track to nearly double the size of the firm in just one year. First Service Realty GMAC now has a power force of more than 400 working agents.
San Roman credits his firm’s recent successes in large measure to GMAC Real Estate’s innovative tools and benefits, including the industry-leading Premier Service program, national advertising and the Elegant Homes luxury property marketing program. Premier Service is what enables First Service Realty GMAC to stand out from the competition. The affiliation with GMAC Real Estate also has enabled the company to establish an in-house mortgage operation, offering its customers a one-stop shop solution.
San Roman is continuously developing new real estate strategies for the firm's continued expansion, including market planning and strategic placement of new offices; leading and directing real estate transactions, including planning, selling, negotiating, leveraging, marking deals, and managing the leadership team.
Highly regarded within the real estate industry, San Roman led the industry in the development of relocation and financial services for brokers and was among the first to advocate the creation of value-added services as a means of recruiting and retaining top agents, and building customer loyalty. San Roman’s ability to work with multiple entities has helped him become one of Miami's most successful companies handling bank owned assets.
As an active participant in the real estate industry, Mr. San Roman is a frequent speaker on real estate and development related topics.
